Foyer Matinee: Stephane Ginsburgh

during the day

Little known work by a ‘musician who writes novels’

In the shadow of his literary masterpiece A Clockwork Orange, Anthony Burgess worked on his own interpretation of Bach's legacy: The Bad-Tempered Electronic Keyboard

Contemporary music specialist Stephane Ginsburgh breathes new life into Burgess's work and unites him with another innovative Bach transformer: Dmitry Shostakovich.

On Saturday 27th of january Ginsburgh plays this composition in an evening programme at the Bach Academie in Concertgebouw Brugge.
