Ulali Project

world music

Your associations with Indians may extend no further than feathered headdresses, shiny black braids and sacred looking teepees. But of course there’s much more to the First Nations than that.

The four women from the Ulali Project give voice to the songs of their ancestors. They devote themselves heart and soul to this centuries- old repertoire, adding touches of later choral music, gospel and blues.
