Between folk and baroque
Les Musiciens de Saint-Julien play both baroque and folk music. This provides these French players with a wealth of techniques and improvisational styles.
For their first concert in Ghent they are turning the hall into an 18th-century Irish pub, with stirring jigs, gently babbling reels and Irish melancholy.
