Warm Baroque music

Those who love the warm viola sound and Baroque music, will love the last Foyer Matinee of the season. On the program there is chamber music from the German Baroque period with the viola in the leading role.

You can hear compositions of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Georg Philipp Telemann and Christoph Graupner. They composed the first solo's for this instrument.

This concert is part of Cydonia Barocca Festival, which lasts for three days. This second edition Florian Heyerick brings together national and international specialists to explore the repertoire for viola and viola d’amore from the German Baroque.
