DARING SOUNDS FROM PARIS

Strolling through Paris after World War I, there were new sounds to hear. The world heaved a sigh, romance was dead.

If you walk the streets today, you might hear the Israeli violinist Nurit Stark practising the same music. As part of a duo with Cédric Pescia on the piano, she makes the French compositions of Debussy, Fauré and Enescu her own.
