Apollon Musagète Quartett

Fun fact: the three composers featured on this evening’s programme have all served as inspiration to geographers. The Shostakovich is a mountain in the Pacific Ocean, Arensky’s name lives on in a glacier at the South Pole and Penderecki has an asteroid named after him.

They also wrote magnificent string quartets, of course, which the seasoned Apollon Musagète Quartett will be performing with brio.

Pawel Zalejski (violin), Bartosz Zachlod (violin), Piotr Szumiel (viola), Piotr Skweres (cello)
