Amandine Beyer (violin) & Gli Incogniti: ‘Il teatro alla moda’
Dynamic violin concertos
In 2015 the violinist Amandine Beyer made a superb recording of Vivaldi’s solo concertos. Here, her ensemble Gli Incogniti combines thrilling virtuosity with grace, beauty and dizzying vitality.
Playing both familiar and never previously recorded works, they sketch a fine portrait of Vivaldi as a theatrical composer.
